What is gyro screen?
Gyro screens are used for classification separating powders, granules, and liquid slurries, removing excessive contaminants, and dividing the bulk materials into different grades. are one of the most common reliable and economical process equipment. When the motor starts, it drives the gyro sifter to move in three dimensions. Adjusting the relative angular position of the double eccentric weights block can change the movement track of the material on the screen surface, so that the material will move on the mesh screen surface with a specific speed moving in the straight direction to the spiral direction, and finally achieves effective screening.
During the movement of the material, the material smaller than the mesh aperture falls from the mesh, and the oversize material is discharged from the outlet port. In the case of a multi-deck vibro screen, the motion on the next mesh is repeated, and finally, the screening is completed.
When the angle of the upper(top) eccentric weight is adjusted, the rotation of the motor will create a vibration on the horizontal plane, which will cause the material to move through the screen cloth to the periphery. When the upper(top) eccentric weight is increased, the horizontal throw increases, as a result, oversized materials are discharged at a faster rate.
When adjusting the lower eccentric weight, the rotation of the motor will create a vibration on the vertical and inclined (tangential planes) of the screen, increasing the weight of the lower eccentric component will promote the turnover of the material on the screen surface, helping maximum quantity of under sizes material to pass through the screen. effective vertical motion can minimize screen blinding.
By setting the relative angular position and the weight of the eccentric weight, the maximum throughput and screening efficiency of the screening machine can be achieved. The motion trajectories generated by different relative angular positions are shown in the figure below.
